The Twist represents the many paths that life can take and the strength of friendship along these paths. The Twist represents the joining together of two people or groups for Eternity, telling the tale of how a bond of Friendship, Loyalty and Love will last forever. Sometimes the two paths will diverge, but will always come together eventually. This symbol is often exchanged between friends to indicate a long lasting bond.
The second design has the same symbolism, but comes with a piece of paua embedded in it. Paua is a rare type of abalone found in only in New Zealand, and is know for its brilliant color.
The Third design is a very special one, and I only have three of them currently. It is the same meaning, but is carved by the same New Zealand Carver that did the Toki and Tear Drop, and is carved from rare Nephrite jade from New Zealand's South Island. You can read more about the meaning of Pounamu on the Pounamu page (tab on the left side).
These Twist each come on an adjustable necklace cord, and are priced at $15.50 apiece (except the Pounamu). Each necklace comes with an informational card describing the meaning of the symbols (particularly good for giving gifts) and and standard shipping is just $6.95 no matter how many you order. Simply click on the picture to add an item to your Paypal cart. After an item has been added to your cart, you can checkout by selecting "View Cart" and pay with either PayPal or a credit card. Payments are processed securely on PayPal's servers, and you should receive the necklaces within 2-9 days.
